This angle just brings it out so much more. That vent into a gap is so weird. The jutting out side skirts make it look fat. And the hood. Dear god, the hood. It looks like a rhinos forehead. Don't even get me started on the grill or belt line.

I have exactly the same feelings about this car. Yet there are people who tell me that "Hey they tried something different, out-of-the-box-thinking" and so on. Well, they still failed miserably IMHO.

Lexus is boring and people complain. Lexus tries bold design and people complain.

It does have a bulbous whale nose. And some hideous headlights. Yeah, it's pretty terrible.

You can thank those awful pedestrian safety laws... you know, because this coudn't be fixed with forward sensors or cameras, but they (the NTHSA) had to forcibly redesign almost every car on the road so that when we hit pedestrians blaring music in their white earbuds, we don't kill them. Sometimes Darwinism isn't such a bad thing afterall...

Dude, I LOVE the SC300/SC400 and LS400. It's been mostly downhill from there.

Lexus has some really good ideas that they just love to cock up by throwing that ugly face on everything.

You can make bold designs that aren't hideous.

Problem is, they did a bad job with this bold design. I thought the LF-A was quite pretty. Lexus needs to look at what Aston Martin does, they have pretty simple, but beautiful and elegant cars.

If you have to fuck ugly to get more than 200 horsepower, I suggest the Toyobarus fuck all the ugly they can get...
And anyways, the only part of the RC F you'll be looking at in the driver's seat of a Toyobaru is this part, so I don't think the front matters much in comparison to the BRZ and FRS.

Even from this angle it looks like it got into a crash and then was mended by an Ukrainian bodyshop, and by that I am talking about a bodyshop that is within the conflict zone.

I am actually a fan of the F sport predator grill. I think it works on everything except they're SUV.

I wanted a new IS-F, and they gave us this instead. I want to like it, but...
Thinking I should have gone for the last-gen IS-F. It was a wonderfully kooky, oddball car in their lineup.

I know everyone else will disagree, but I love the new Lexus grill. As a 32 year old making very good money, it's the first thing that got me into Lexus in, well, forever. Ever, in fact. Don't know why, but I like it - and I'm looking at an IS or RC for my next daily.
